  ALIND MADRAS REGIONAL OFFICE I always remember a Viswanathan, a Thenkasi chap a long and fat fellow, a very cordial guy who used to visit Kundara Alind Sales dept. Whenever Viswanathan came, he usually stayed in our guesthouse. Outside Alind, there was a small hotel at the corner of the kacheri mukku(in front of the sub-registrar office). Vasavan was the eldest son of Gopalan Chettan. Goplan chettan was the owner. Vasavan sir was my Hindi guru in lower classes. Vasavan sir had taken tuition for many children in Alind. He became a lawyer after his Hindi M A at SN college at Kollam. He is still at the Kollam Bar. There were eight or more members in that family. The excess food after their need provided /sold through their small hotel which awas in front of the house in a charichu kettu( thached shed). Homely food in all sense. But no one from Alind would go into this hotel for anything as it was was not proper for their status. but Viswanathan surprised us all by relinquishing d

  കേരളം കണ്ടതിൽ വെച്ച് ഏറ്റവും മോശം മന്ത്രിസഭാ ആയിരുന്നു ഉമ്മന്ചാണ്ടിയുടേത്. പിണറായി ഇതിനെ കവച്ചു വെക്കും എന്ന് ഒരിക്കലും തോന്നിയിരുന്നില്ല, മാത്രമല്ല ഒരു തുടർ ഭരണവും ഉണ്ടാകും എന്ന് ഉറച്ചു വിശ്വസിച്ചു പോയിരുന്നു. ഒരു വയോധികനെ വെട്ടി വീഴ്ത്തി അധികാരത്തിൽ വന്നതാണെങ്കിലും കുറച്ചു നന്മകൾ പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചു. എല്ലാം കളഞ്ഞുകുളിച്ചു. കഴിവ് കേടുകൾ മുഴുവൻ പുറത്തെടുത്തു . മറ്റുള്ളവരാൽ കെട്ടിപ്പൊക്കിയ പ്രതിച്ഛായ മുഴുവൻ തച്ചുടച്ചു . ഒരുപഞ്ചായത്തു പ്രഡിഡന്റ് ആയി ഇരിക്കാൻപോലും കഴുവില്ലാത്തവൻ എന്ന് മറ്റുള്ളവരെക്കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ പറയിച്ചു. അവസാന നിമിഷമെങ്കിലും പ്രതിച്ഛായ നന്നാക്കും എന്ന് വിചാരിച്ചു , ജലീലിനെ വെള്ള അടിക്കുമ്പോഴും ശിവശങ്കരനെ തിരിച്ചു എടുക്കുമ്പോഴും എല്ലാം കണ്ടുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ജനം തന്നെപോലെ തന്നെ വിഡ്ഡി ആണെന്ന് വിചാരിക്കുന്ന ആളെ എന്തുപറയാൻ. ഇനി ഒരിക്കലും ഈ സീറ്റിൽ ഇരിക്കാൻ കഴിയാത്ത വിധം ഉള്ള പ്രവർത്തികൾ ആണ് താൻ കാട്ടിക്കൂട്ടുന്നത് എന്ന് ഇയാളുടെ തലയിലേക്ക് ആര് കയറ്റിവിടും ? കഷ്ടം ... 2000 ആവുമ്പോഴേക്കും കേരളം ഇലക്ടിസിറ്റിയിൽ സ്വയം പര്യാപ്തമാവും എന്ന് ടി വി യിൽ ഇരുന്നു തട്ട

  Veteran mridangam vidwan and former principal RLV Tripunithura BALASUBRAMONIYAM, who enriched the world of Carnatic music with his sensitive percussive technique, passed away in Thanjavur in  Tamilnadu,India on 06.09.2020. Balasubramaniam died on Sunday. He was the classmate of  late  Kumaran Nair Maman's (chief time keeper Alind)second daughter Sushama Unnikrishnan. He was 64. Death due to shortness of breath and subsequent pneumonia. When I posted a photo of Santosh Bhavan years back which was below the Kundara Elampalur police station, on Facebook, Balasubramaniam's posted a comment under it.   The comment was that I had come to this house too. My profile was public at the time. Not public now. Now no  Santosh Bhavan too. When I noticed this comment, I had gone through his profile. He was not a small fish. Sushma was asked who he was. A legend who worked for the country and got so many blames for that. A multi-faceted personality who helped to build and shape the central Kerala and made history.   Krishnayanam by Thulasi Kottukkal If you read this book, you could see Krishna with you as a human being. Initially, Hari Sree Books, Punallur the publishers of this book published a new edition comprising all parts. , some of them informed that this book is no more available. its a wonderful collection . and Mr. thulasi kottukkal 's Veda kathakal also excellent. He is a well-known teacher as well as a writer, If anybody wants, try this number and address given below. I don’t know about the availability of the book. I am sure one cannot leave the book after reading once. You will be tempted to read this several times..You can call this also as Radhayanam, as this is a journey through  Radha also. The language used by Shri Thulasi Kottukkal is amazingly haunting. an appreciable book ...gone through it at about 28 years ago.
