Ramesh Narayanan/ Jewel Mary/ Jayaraj /Asif Ali

Ramesh Narayanan and Asif Ali are walking on the left side of the road of democracy, while we walk on the right. Traffic laws dictate that pedestrians should walk on the right side and vehicles on the left. Hence, both individuals are incorrect in their actions. They are engaging in wrongdoing and mischief. There is no necessity for those travelling on the correct side to intervene in their disputes. The issue at hand is the perception of superiority and inferiority. The Brahmin-Muslim conflict has been intentionally raised to foster communalism.

My experience mirrors this incident. For 23 years, I was connected to Kundara Alind as an employee's son, and for 35 years, as an employee. I managed the accounts for the Recreation Club, held roles in trade unions, and was involved with the children's organisation Balabharatham, later in Alind Youngsters. I experienced the company's prosperous and challenging periods and was present during its closure. I also participated in the workers' strikes related to the lockout and stayed in the quarters after the shutdown, meeting expenses directly.

In 2016, a get-together was organised by the children of the employees at Woodlands Hotel in Ernakulam. During the event, former employees were honoured with a memento and a certificate acknowledging their past employment. I had not attended the event. The certificate was delivered to my home, but I had not accepted it. Anxious to retrieve the certificate left on the chair, I ensured it was taken back. The individual who delivered it had never attended any of the company's events, had not seen the entire 60-acre property, nor watched movies or dramas in the auditorium. This person never took part in the Balabharatham programs and was always immersed in studies—a true scholar/Padippist. Despite his academic prowess, I feel conflicted about receiving a certificate from him. He gave me the impression that he was not the right person to bestow such an accolade upon me.

Neelakandan Swamy, a retired superintendent of the sales department and a regular at all company events was well-known to everyone. He had missed the meeting due to health issues. The certificate was delivered to his home in Chennai. He had posted a photo on Facebook, depicting himself seated, certificate in hand. I witnessed it. The sight of this man, esteemed among the Alinders, clutching a certificate that simply read "he was an employee," awarded by undeserving personalities, filled me with deep sorrow. Had it been an official of the company or a senior official presenting such an accolade, I would have accepted it wholeheartedly.

Wouldn't Ramesh Narayanan feel the same? As a common citizen, I believe that Ramesh should have received the award directly from Jayaraj.

The organizers of the film launch ceremony should have been aware of this. His name was mistakenly announced and insulted over the microphone. Shouldn't someone address this issue? Referring to him as Santhosh Narayanan is not only incorrect but also mocks Ramesh. Why was Ramesh, the music director, made to sit among the audience while the actors and directors of the movie were seated on the stage? Was Ramesh instructed to maintain a distance from others because he is a bhramin? Asif Ali is an acclaimed actor. I am passionate about acting, performing with flair. Cyberattacks are often executed by individuals unaware of the actual events. This becomes evident when we watch the video.

Another aspect to consider is his reference to a central minister as a serial actress. So it was appropriate to depict Ramesh as Santosh. Ramesh declined to accept the award directly from the central minister. Here also he was destined to receive it from Asif Ali, who occupies a position junior to that of Ramesh.This event was destined by God for Ramesh. Will Ramesh ever recognize his errors? He failed to understand Smriti Irani's pain when he insulted her. The one who sits above observes all. Justice will be served at the appropriate time. Yesterday, on July 17th, 2024, Ramesh phoned with a trembling voice, seeking Asif Ali's help to address a cyber-attack. Asif, realizing that Ramesh was dribbling, requested his supporters to refrain from troubling Ramesh. For me, it was a particularly gratifying day as those who once lauded a person who hadn't ready to receive an award from Smriti Irani were now using the same words to criticize Ramesh. The irony was quite satisfying.

There is a video which has gone viral. What Mr. Ramesh said to the press after the incident is written below. "I was not called onto the stage though everyone who had worked for the anthology was invited and given mementoes. Aswathy, daughter of M T Vasudevan Nair made arrangements to hand over the memento to me after realising that I was not invited on the stage. The anchor was heard calling me Santhosh Narayanan. I received the memento from Asif Ali, but I wanted Jayaraj also to join as he was the director of the film. By the time Jayaraj had reached near me, Asif had gone back to his seat," (The anchor was Jewel Mary who had acted with Mammooty in one film. In my opinion a senseless girl made the base for the controversy)

മഹേഷ് നാരയണനും ആസിഫ് അലിയും ഇടതുവശം വഴി നടക്കുന്നവർ. നമ്മൾ വലതുവശം വഴിനടക്കുന്നവർ . പെഡസ്റ്റൈൻസ് /കാൽനടക്കാർ റോഡിൻറെ വലതു വശവും വാഹനങ്ങൾ ഇടതുവശവും ചേർന്നാണ് നടിക്കേണ്ടതെന്നു ട്രാഫിക് നിയമം നമ്മെ പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നണ്ട് . ആയതിനാൽ മേല്പറഞ്ഞ രണ്ടു വ്യക്തികളും തെറ്റുകാർ. ഇവർ തെറ്റിനെ ഇഷ്ട്ട പ്പെടുന്നവരും തെറ്റ് ചെയ്യുന്നവരും. ഇവർ തമ്മിലുള്ള പ്രശ്ങ്ങൾക്കു വലതു സഞ്ചാരികൾ ഇടപെടേണ്ട കാര്യം ഇല്ല. ഞാൻ ഇവിടെ കാണുന്നതു ആരാണ് വലുത് ആരാണ്ചെറുത് എന്നുള്ളത്. ബ്രാമണൻ / മുസ്ലിം തർക്കം കൊണ്ടുവന്നത് മനപ്പൂർവം വർഗീയത സൃഷ്ട്ടിക്കാൻ. എനിക്കുണ്ടായ ഒരു അനുഭവുമായി ഈ സംഭവത്തെ താരതമ്യപ്പെടുത്താം . ഞാൻ ജീവനക്കാരന്റെ മകൻ ആയി 23 വർഷവും, ജീവനക്കാരൻ ആയി 35 വർഷവും കുണ്ടറ അലിൻഡുമായി മായി ബന്ധം ഉണ്ട്. ഞാൻ റിക്രിയേഷൻ ക്ലബ്ബിന്റെ അക്കൗണ്ട്സ് ന്റെ ചുമതല വഹിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഞാൻ ട്രേഡ് യൂണിയനിൽ സ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ വഹിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഞാൻ കുട്ടികളുടെ സംഘടനാ ആയ ബാലഭാരതത്തിലും മുതിർന്നപ്പോൾ അലിൻഡ് യങ്സ്റ്റേഴ്സിന്റെയും ഭാഗമായി. ഞാൻ കമ്പനിയുടെ സുവര്ണകാലഘട്ടങ്ങളുടെയും വേദനിച്ച കാലത്തിലൂടെയും കടന്നു പോയിരുന്നു. കമ്പനി പൂട്ടുമ്പോഴും സാക്ഷിയായി. ഞാൻ ഈ കാലങ്ങളിലെ സമരങ്ങളിലും പങ്കാളിയായി. ജീവനക്കാരുടെ മക്കൾ എറണാകുളത്തു വുഡ്‌ലാൻഡ്സിൽ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച ഒരു ഗെറ്റ് ടുഗെതറിൽ പങ്കെടുത്ത ജീവനക്കാർക്ക് എല്ലാം "കമ്പനി ജീവനക്കാരൻ ആയിരുന്നു "എന്ന സാക്ഷ്യപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന ഒരു സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് വിതരണം ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ഞാൻ ഈ പരിപാടിയിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തിരുന്നില്ല. . സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് വീട്ടിൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നിരുന്നു . ഞാൻ സ്വീകരിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല. കസേരയിൽ വെച്ച സാക്ഷ്യപത്രം തിരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോകാൻ ഞാൻ ആവ്യശപെട്ടിരുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ അത് തിരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയിരുന്നു. കൊണ്ടുവന്ന ആൾ കമ്പനിയുടെ ഒരു പരിപാടികളിൽ പോലും പങ്കെടുക്കാത്ത ആൾ. 60 acre സ്ഥലം മുഴുവൻ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ആൾ. ഓഡിറ്റോറിയത്തിൽ അരങ്ങേറുന്ന നാടകങ്ങൾ സിനിമകൾ കാണാതിരുന്ന ആൾ. ബാലഭാരതത്തിന്റെ പരിപാടികൾക്ക് പോലും പങ്കെടുക്കാതിരുന്ന ആൾ. ഏതുസമയവും പഠിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ആൾ. ഒരു പഠിപ്പിസ്റ്. ഇങ്ങനെത്തെ ഒരാളിൽനിന്നും സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് വാങ്ങുന്നത് എൻ്റെ മനസ്സു വിലങ്ങുതടി ആയി നിന്നു അക്കാദമിക്കൽ ആയി ഉയർന്നയാളെങ്കിലും. ആ ആൾ എനിക്ക് അങ്ങനെ ഓർ സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് തരാൻ ആയിട്ടില്ല എന്ന തോന്നൽ എന്നിൽ ഉളവാക്കി. സെയിൽസ് ഡിപ്പാർട്മെന്റിന്റെ സൂപ്രണ്ടായി വിരമിച്ച ആളും കമ്പനിയിലെ എല്ലാ പരിപാടികളിലിമ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്ന ആളും , എല്ലാവരാലും അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ആളുമായിരുന്നു നീലകണ്ഠൻ സ്വാമി. അദ്ദേഹം മീറ്റിംഗിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തിരുന്നില്ല ആരോഗ്യകാരണങ്ങളാൽ . അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ഇത് ചെന്നൈയിലെ വീട്ടിൽ എത്തിച്ചിരുന്നു. വയസ്സയ അദ്ദേഹം ഈ സെര്ടിഫിക്കറ്റും പിടിച്ചു ഒരു കസേരയിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഫോട്ടോ മക്കൾ ഫേസ് ബുക്കിൽ പങ്കുവെചിരുന്നു. ഞാനും കണ്ടിരുന്നു. അലിൻഡുകാർക്കിടയിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധനായിരുന്ന ആ മനുഷ്യൻ "ജീവനക്കാരൻ ആയിരുന്നു " എന്ന സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റും പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഫോട്ടോ എന്നെ വല്ലാതെ വേദനിപ്പിചിരുന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള സാഷ്യപത്രം കൊടുക്കുന്നത് കമ്പനിയും അതിലെ മുതിർന്ന ഒരു ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനും ആയിരുന്നേൽ ഞാൻ വാങ്ങുമായിരുന്നു രണ്ടു കയ്യും നീട്ടി തന്നെ. ഇതേ ഫീലിംഗ് തന്നെ ആയിരിക്കില്ല മഹേഷ് നാരായണനും? ഒരു സാധാരണ പൗരൻ എന്ന നിലയിൽ എൻ്റെ അഭിപ്രായം ജയരാജനിൽ നിന്നും തന്നെ ആണ് മഹേഷ് അത് /സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് വാങ്ങേണ്ടിയിരുന്നത് എന്നാണ്.
ഫിലിം ലൗഞ്ചിങ് ചടങ്ങു സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചവർ ഇത് ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണ്ടിയിരുന്നു. മൈക്കിൽ കൂടി ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പെരു തെറ്റായിട്ടു വിളിച്ചു അവഹേളിച്ചു . ഇതിനു ആർക്കുമൊന്നും പറയേണ്ടേ? സന്തോഷ് നാരയണൻ എന്നാണ് വിളിച്ചത്. ഇതും രമേശിനെ കളിയാക്കൽ തന്നെയല്ലേ ? സിനിമയിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചവരും സംവിധായകരും സ്റ്റേജിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ സംഗീയത സംവിധായകനായ രമേശിനെ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് സ്റ്റേജിൽ ഇരുത്തിയില്ല ? ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ ആയതു കൊണ്ടാണോ രമേശിന് ഭ്രഷ്ട്ട് കല്പിച്ചതു? ആസിഫ് ആലി മികച്ച നടൻ തന്നെ . അഭിനയം എനിക്ക് ഇഷ്ട്ടമാണ്. തന്മയത്തോടെയുള്ള അഭിനയം. യഥാർത്ഥ നടന്ന സംഭവം അറിയാത്തവർ ആളാണ് സൈബർ ആക്രമണം നടത്തുന്നത്. വീഡിയോ കണ്ടാലും ഇത് മനസ്സിലാകും. ഇതിനു മറുവശം കൂടിയുണ്ട് . ഒരു കേന്ദ്ര മന്ത്രിയിയെ സീരിയൽ നടി എന്ന് വിളിച്ചവൻ. അപ്പോൾ രമേശിനെ സന്തോഷ് ആക്കിയതിൽ തെറ്റുണ്ടോ?മന്ത്രിയായിട്ടുപോലും അവാർഡ് അവരുടെ കൈയ്യിൽ നിന്നും വാങ്ങാത്തവൻ. അതുകൊണ്ടു തെന്നെക്കാള് താഴെ ആയ അസ്ഫിഫ് അലി യുടെ കൈയിൽ നിന്നും വാങ്ങിക്കേണ്ടിവന്നത്. ദൈവം രേമേഷിനായി സൂക്ഷിച്ചു വെച്ചതാണ് ഈ സംഭവം. എന്നെങ്കിലും രമേശ് അവന്റെ തെറ്റുകൾ മനസ്സിലാക്കേണ്ടേ? സ്‌മൃതി ഇറാനിയുടെ യുടെ വേദന നിനക്ക് ഉൾകൊള്ളാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ലല്ലോ. മുകളിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്ന ആൾ എല്ലാം കാണുന്നുണ്ട്. അദ്ദേഹം തക്ക ശിക്ഷ വേണ്ടസമയത് തരും. രമേശ് ഇനി തെറ്റുകൾ ആവർത്തിക്കരുത്.
